Sweets the Dog needs a home
Sweets lives up to her name. She hasn't met a human (big or small) that she doesn't want to shower with kisses. Her foster mom loves dressing her in sweaters and has taught her to play fetch. She'll let you know when she's done with a big sigh and a retreat to the nearest comfy spot.
She is a happy girl with her tail always wagging. She's learning that she's safe and loved in her foster home. In a few short months she has gone from physically following her foster moms' every move, to being content to observe household activity from across the room. Her favorite past time is napping and preferably on your bed or closest couch. This girl is not a morning dog either, she will sleep until you are ready to get up. She is crate trained and potty trained. She loves snuggling with her humans and going for walks. She's dog selective but appears accepting of laid back male dogs.
As for background, Sweets was retrieved from a crime scene property. For unknown reasons she was living in a home with other dogs and lots and lots of snakes. Sweets appears to have been bred several times and has been successfully treated for heartworm. The sweet gal also arrived with pronounced mammary tumors which have been removed as part of a research grant with a top notch veterinary institution. Sweets in now ready to share her huge heart and loving kisses with a furever family to call her own.
